Orchestra Academy Review and Challenge –3/4/19

Hi everyone!

I have been posting regularly on our social media pages, but have been neglecting to post here! I apologize for that. Below are my review videos for this week:

For your challenge this week, I have recorded myself playing Impulse on each of the instruments. Both orchestras will be performing this piece at the concert, so this can be good practice for everyone.

If you get good at playing your part by itself, try playing it with the video of all 4 parts. That way you will know how it will sound with the whole orchestra.

Challenges for 2/11/19

Hi everyone!

Look below for the challenge videos for the week. Please remember to keep practicing! We will NOT be having Orchestra Academy rehearsal next Monday because it is Presidents’ Day. In the videos I reference seeing you on Monday, but I won’t actually see you until Monday, February 25th!

Beginning Orchestra:

For your challenge this week, I want you to look ahead to page 18 where we will be learning the notes on the A string. Below I have posted videos of me explaining the notes on the A string.
